Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, And Neuroticism (OCEAN) is universal so it is pretty accurate. Some research stated that it could also have biological origin because aside from environment (nurture), our biological origin (nature) also influenced in shaping our personality.
Most of us prefer to improve our emotional stability and then extroversion. However, Agreeableness and then emotional stability are the easiest to manipulate and improve. It proves that small changes could add on our improvement and growth.
In addition, our personality traits will become stable when we become adults but may still slightly change as we get older. To end this, you are the same person 5 years ago but with better or worse personality traits. Hence, Your personality is not fixed.
